Port Talbot Little Theatre

Welcome To Port Talbot Little Theatre

The Little Theatre is an amateur dramatic society and was founded in 1941.
We put on two productions each year, in May and November.

We meet in the hall of Wesley Chapel on Fridays and also on Tuesdays when we are rehearsing productions.

We are always pleased to welcome new members in any capacity. Putting on a play doesn’t just call for good actors. It requires a very wide range of skills from carpentry and general DIY to financial and administrative and not least the ability to make a good cup of tea!

Not sure if amateur dramatics are for you? Then why not come along and meet us. There is no obligation to join, so If you would like to try something different come along to Wesley Chapel hall.

Future Production

Our next production is “Murder & May-Hem” an evening of two one-act plays.

“Bang You’re Dead” a comedy thriller by Paul Reakes, directed by Gary Barber.

Lydia and her boyfriend Marcus rehearse the murder of Theo, Lydia's husband, which they are to commit that evening. When the victim and 'perfect witness' arrive, all goes according to plan except there’s a ghastly mistake - or are there some deviations from the original plot?

“Happy Birthday, Me” a comedyby Simon Williams, directed by

Carol Scott.

"It's my birthday. All I wanted was a bottle of Claret and a couple of winners at Sandown." Instead, retired actress Margot Buchanan receives three separate visitors: her ex-husband Sir Leo, an ageing film star fresh from a punch-up with a reporter, Leo's current wife Judy, and his latest mistress Sadie, an aspiring Juliet seeking Margot's acting advice. The inevitable fireworks kick off. Then the kissogram shows up ... Happy Birthday Me is a touching and very funny comedy.
